In all other tasks, you are excellant. You're a great father, tree-house builder, house renovator, provider, encourager, companion, punster.... I could go on and on, but that's what being a mother does to you. You are also a great son. Love you.
I asked Dean's kids what they thought we were going to put on Alice's tombstone. Lucy said, "A cookie." I hadn't thought about that one. Anyway this opens up a whole new sport, telling people what you'd put on their tombstones. BTW we put "You're my kid" on Alice's tombstone!
Doesn't she know anticipation is half the pleasure? That's what I keep telling myself, anyway.

"Not done yet". On second thought, not a bad epitaph.
